Lincoln Michael....
Lincoln is a wild man. He is into everything, cruising (almost ready to walk..), exploring all over ---- he loves to mess with Macy and especially loves to steal her sippy cup and drink it as fast as possible (before she sees him!) little monster. Lincoln is also so sweet. He is loving, easing going and a lot of fun. He is also such the little charmer.
Tonight - i find him 'exploring' in the bathroom....he LOVES to play in water---peyton's water bowl, bathtub and.....now the toilet!

New Pics...
hello everyone!
well, to say our life has been 'crazy' the past few weeks....would be an understatement.
We now live in Houston, scott has started a new job as the student minister at Jersey Village Baptist Church. Also, Macy has an eye condition called Esotropia. Basically meaning, her eyes aren't aligned properly. She is also farsided and therefore needing to wear glasses now. She'll be having eye surgery on Friday july 18th to move and reattach the muscles on her eyes. please pray for her -
we are doing great. macy is making lots of new friends and loves that her 'new church' has 3 playgrounds!
Kroger is huge in H-town...good thing they have these awesome carts!
my family got together and had a GREAT 4th of July get- together...this is not the best pic BUT it definitely captures the craziness of the weekend!
isn't she adorable.

UPDATE!
The Shelton family is busy and crazy like always! Macy is REALLY talking a lot now.....i'll have an entire conversations with her and then it'll dawn on me that.....i just had a lengthy and detailed conversation with my two year old! she is becoming such the big girl - so then naturally, she wants to do 'big girl' things: she loves to help me cook in the kitchen, she likes to help give linc baths, she'll sometimes sit on the big girl potty (and sometimes even go...) , she loves playing outside, loves to run and gallop like a horse --- many nights scott and i will go into her room to turn off her lamp and just smile at our baby girl asleep in her toddler bed 'reading' books! Linc is also becoming quite the little man! He is developing such the little personality and charm. He is almost 6 months and a chunk. He loves his exersaucer and laughing at his sister. Lincoln loves cereal - if your not watching he'll grab the spoon and put it in his mouth all on his own. He is an easy smile and a great cuddlebug. He is such a sweet boy.
Here are some of our latest family pics.....from random to Easter! enjoy!

is there anything better than cookies n' cream?!
Macy LOVES ice cream. one of our new favorite things is getting her to say "ice cream".....b/c for some reason she says the word 'through her nose' - its hilarious! we don't know why she does this...but we hope it never stops! enjoy.

Choo Choo's
Macy is all about "choo choo" trains right now. Our house backs up directly to a train track...so as you can imagine about 3-4 times a day a train goes by our house --- and naturally, the conductor guy decides to make way to much noise letting us know he's coming! Therefore, macy is always asking where the train is?....did you know that trains "go to sleep?"
Scott and I decided to take macy to temple to see some choo choo's. She loved it! You can climb up into a steam engine (and actually pull the whistle) and walk along the tracks.
To make the event even more neat and special - Scott's grandfather worked for the Santa Fe railroad and was influential in getting the steam engine there!

...its hard to believe isn't it?
this IS just what it looks like!.....my family (i.e...stuart and richard) taught my two year old how to play Wall Ball. and this wasn't just them being nice, inclusive and allowing her to 'play' with them....oh, no.no. this is Uncle Stu and Uncle Richie teaching Macy to stand against the wall - so she can get hit with the ball. .....she'd drop the ball while attempting to play (just wanting to be included folks!) and my cousins would tell her 'shes it' and to go stand against the wall and then they would throw the ball at her back! yes, i know. this seems outlandish------folks, my family created outlandish.
oh - the things people teach her.

BIRTHDAY GIRL!
Macy's 2nd birthday is Feb.8th BUT we had her party this past saturday. She is such the big girl. We had a great party: the weather was amazing (almost hot!) and macy had a blast. We got a pony to come and she loved it.....my camera didn't capture it (i'm hoping others did...) but macy would hold onto the saddle with one and hand and wave to 'her crowd' with the other! it was precious.
Macy is beyond fortunate to have so many people in her life that love and support her --- she is a joy.

...sneaky little snake!
macy loves her paci and she'll have it in her mouth all the time if i'd let her. now that shes talking...i don't like her talking with the paci in her mouth. SO, today i dediced that, at least at our house, the paci stays in her room. She can have it when she wants it but she then must stay in her room. Needlesstosay, my little two year old listens to me explain the new rules (and i know she understands) and i leave the room. I'm in the hall and she emerges from her room with no paci (for a second i think...victory!) untill i notice the sly little smurk on her face and her little hand behind her back!....let just say, she tried to pull a fast one on me --- thinking she can get it past me -----oh my! let the two's come baby! =)
