UPDATE!

The Shelton family is busy and crazy like always! Macy is REALLY talking a lot now.....i'll have an entire conversations with her and then it'll dawn on me that.....i just had a lengthy and detailed conversation with my two year old! she is becoming such the big girl - so then naturally, she wants to do 'big girl' things: she loves to help me cook in the kitchen, she likes to help give linc baths, she'll sometimes sit on the big girl potty (and sometimes even go...) , she loves playing outside, loves to run and gallop like a horse --- many nights scott and i will go into her room to turn off her lamp and just smile at our baby girl asleep in her toddler bed 'reading' books! Linc is also becoming quite the little man! He is developing such the little personality and charm. He is almost 6 months and a chunk. He loves his exersaucer and laughing at his sister. Lincoln loves cereal - if your not watching he'll grab the spoon and put it in his mouth all on his own. He is an easy smile and a great cuddlebug. He is such a sweet boy.
Here are some of our latest family pics.....from random to Easter! enjoy!

is there anything better than cookies n' cream?!

Macy LOVES ice cream. one of our new favorite things is getting her to say "ice cream".....b/c for some reason she says the word 'through her nose' - its hilarious! we don't know why she does this...but we hope it never stops! enjoy.

Choo Choo's

Macy is all about "choo choo" trains right now. Our house backs up directly to a train track...so as you can imagine about 3-4 times a day a train goes by our house --- and naturally, the conductor guy decides to make way to much noise letting us know he's coming! Therefore, macy is always asking where the train is?....did you know that trains "go to sleep?"
Scott and I decided to take macy to temple to see some choo choo's. She loved it! You can climb up into a steam engine (and actually pull the whistle) and walk along the tracks.
To make the event even more neat and special - Scott's grandfather worked for the Santa Fe railroad and was influential in getting the steam engine there!

...its hard to believe isn't it?

this IS just what it looks like!.....my family (i.e...stuart and richard) taught my two year old how to play Wall Ball. and this wasn't just them being nice, inclusive and allowing her to 'play' with them....oh, no.no. this is Uncle Stu and Uncle Richie teaching Macy to stand against the wall - so she can get hit with the ball. .....she'd drop the ball while attempting to play (just wanting to be included folks!) and my cousins would tell her 'shes it' and to go stand against the wall and then they would throw the ball at her back! yes, i know. this seems outlandish------folks, my family created outlandish.
oh - the things people teach her.
