BIRTHDAY GIRL!

Macy's 2nd birthday is Feb.8th BUT we had her party this past saturday. She is such the big girl. We had a great party: the weather was amazing (almost hot!) and macy had a blast. We got a pony to come and she loved it.....my camera didn't capture it (i'm hoping others did...) but macy would hold onto the saddle with one and hand and wave to 'her crowd' with the other! it was precious.
Macy is beyond fortunate to have so many people in her life that love and support her --- she is a joy.

...sneaky little snake!

macy loves her paci and she'll have it in her mouth all the time if i'd let her. now that shes talking...i don't like her talking with the paci in her mouth. SO, today i dediced that, at least at our house, the paci stays in her room. She can have it when she wants it but she then must stay in her room. Needlesstosay, my little two year old listens to me explain the new rules (and i know she understands) and i leave the room. I'm in the hall and she emerges from her room with no paci (for a second i think...victory!) untill i notice the sly little smurk on her face and her little hand behind her back!....let just say, she tried to pull a fast one on me --- thinking she can get it past me -----oh my! let the two's come baby! =)

Our life at the moment is CRAZY...but amazing. Our kids are fantastic and precious. We are so fortunate.

Meet our daughter...the Goldfish!

I don't think i've seen anything more adorable than my daughter dressing up as a little goldfish! For her 1/2 birthday we got her a beta fish .... ever since then she's been 'all about' fish - she says the word really easy and often! well, i saw this costume at a consignment sale in waco and knew that i HAD to buy it for her. Luckily, it was her exact size and only 10 bucks!!!
Macy wore this amazing costume Halloween night for a few hours (my parents and grandparents took her to a carnival b/c we were in the hospital) and wore it again the next night to our church "fall festival" ----- the entire time looking adorable and loving it! ....i am so glad macy loves dressing up (b/c you know i love too!) ....i'm already thinking and planning my costume selection for next year =)
